DESCRIPTION:S.O.S. Maribor – Sound of Streets is the first singer-songwriter street music festival in Maribor\, where renowned domestic and international singer-songwriters will perform. Singer-songwriting is a master skill or a profession involving writing lyrics and music while performing. Performing on the street is a special art and this art directly addresses all passers-by or visitors and listeners\, and involves them in the performance itself. That is why we want you to visit the festival\, experience it creatively and see for yourself. \nThe Sound of Streets festival will have three street venues called Tkalka\, Slovenka and Štajerka with the main venue in the Štajerc Restaurant and Pub\, Vetrinjska ulica 30\, Maribor. The venues will be marked with a carpet/rug\, in the style of a street performance. We will use hats that will be designed for voluntary contributions from passersby as usual. The amount of contributions on the street at the time of the singer-songwriter’s performance belongs entirely to the performer. \nThree singer-songwriters a day will be circling the venues. Each of them has a 20 minute program at each venue\, after which time they will go to the next one. Thus\, the singer-songwriter has a total of one hour. On the same day\, starting at 7 pm\, the Štajerc Restaurant and Pub\, Vetrinjska ul. 30 in Maribor\, a concert of all performers at the festival will take place.
